OUR MISSION

/  OUR DESTINATION

 01

02

After our arrival to Venus via UAH Spacecraft, our goal is to drop two probes down to the surface of Venus. We are going to drop one into one of the vortices at the south pole, and then one at the equator. At these sites we will be testing for a magnetic field. Up to this point in time there has not been a magnetic field measured on Venus. We plan to reject the null and present the hypothesis that the reason a magnetic field has not been found is because there has not been an adequate amount of research done on the subject.

/  OUR GOAL

Our mission leads us straight to Venus, a rough and tumble planet with a toxic atmosphere. It is often considered to be Earth's "twin sister", on account of their size and mass being very similar. That is where the similarities end. The Venetian atmosphere is extremely dense, and is made up of mostly carbon dioxide and a very small amount of nitrogen. The pressure in the atmosphere is equal to nearly 92 times the pressure of Earth, and the greenhouse effect is the most extreme in the entire solar system. This planet is hardcore.
